Andersen’s purchased the home from the Thomas & Alice Bond family.
Mr. Bond was Registrar of Salina Land Office in 1871, had a law office
and along with Mrs Bond was active in the Equal Suffrage movement, some of their
house guests were Susan B Anthony and Carrie Chapman Pitt.
Several pieces are original left in the house when purchased by the
Andersen’s. There are many early unique pieces.
